Phamela Kisic Villamar | Peruvian-Canadian | Vancouver-based 

Pronounced with a silent h, my name is Phamela and I was raised in Lima before immigrating to Canada 20 years ago. I have been drawing on walls, making cardboard boxes, and admiring beautiful designs since childhood. Personality-wise, I am often described by those who know me as a friendly, reliable, and curious person. 

My most favorite thing is learning and reading about various topics like animals, writing, psychology, and civil infrastructure. On top of that, I have various hobbies that I love: drawing, sewing, gaming, photography, and karaoke. I also have two rescue cats and a mini daschund. 

With a life-long passion for art and other creative endeavours that seeps into all my work, I am seeking opportunities to utilize my knowledge and human-first approach in the graphic design field. My many years of experience in customer-facing roles has made me an effective communicator with a unique perspective, making me an asset that easily fits into any team. 

Educational background includes completion of BCIT's Graphic Design Certificate, and one Foundations year at Emily Carr. I am very interested in using my design skills for children's products, pet products, as well as editorial jobs.
